Fantastische ervaring: Michael at Nekwerk was great. I came in with an injured shoulder (tendonitis and bursitis) that several physios were unable to fix or improve and within 2 weeks was back at 100%. I now have no pain in daily life at all. Excellent treatment. Great customer service, and very friendly. I highly suggest visiting Nekwerk.

Negatieve ervaring: I went here with bad neck, shoulder and arm pain and ended up wasting €75. I'm still in a lot of pain so whatever little he did in terms of physical manipulation, other than talking a lot, did not help. Also, he did not share any recommendations or exercises to do, but was very happy to push subsequent visits. Finally, there is no waiting room and apparently it is considered normal here to treat people in the same room as other people are waiting.

Fantastische ervaring: I have been seeing Michael for a few years now. Whenever I feel out of alignment or in need of an adjustment, Michael always makes the right adjustment with thoughtfulness. In addition to the chiropractic adjustment he often provides helpful suggestions for stretches and exercises to help from having repeat issues. I have found these to be very helpful! He also offers a few other services including magnetic resonance therapy which can help to heal injuries more rapidly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in need. You will be in good hands.

Fantastische ervaring: I had a chronic pain on the right side of my body between the spine and shoulder blade coupled with pelvis and right leg injury. Every day for years I felt discomfort, my right leg felt weak and numb, a few days every week I would have terrible pain in my right gluteal muscles. Pilates would help me relieve the pain but won’t treat the cause. After just a few treatments/adjustments with Michael I feel so much better!! My right leg is stronger, I have less pain in my right gluteal muscles, I run much easier, faster and have more breath without having muscle pain. I can finally interlace my fingers behind my back. The problem turned out to be in the upper chest of my body that was causing problems with the rest. I would have never known! I’m very happy with Michael as chiropractor, he takes time to diagnose and explain the problem and it’s effects on a body. I will definitely continue with the treatment.

Fantastische ervaring: I have pain in multiple joints as well as dizziness when I move my neck in certain positions. I have had about 5 treatment with Micheal B and he is amazing. His diagnostic skills are top notch and his treatment has always been helpful. In addition to his manual skills he utilizes PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) to promote cellular healing. I specifically travel over an hour to have a treatment with Michael B as well as having PEMF. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice.

Fantastische ervaring: Excellent Chiropractor. I had 3 adjustments / treatments with Michael B and there is allready improvement with my lower back pain, neck pain and imsonia problems. I have good faith in a even better end result. Michael is different then other chiropractors in Amsterdam. It feels more like a holistic treatment and he takes his time. At other chiropractors it feels like a factory with a tight time schedule. This one is different with a relaxed atmosphere, quality over quantity, it’s a good vibe. 5/5 rating. Fantastische ervaring: Staying with our daughter in Amsterdam. We stumbled onto this great miracle worker around the corner from where she lives. He understood immediately what problems I had. Went 3 times and everytime he made me feel better. With his knowledge, people skills and the use of his great equipment, I'm sure the reviews are right in saying he is the best chiropractor in Ansterdam. He also wrote me a reference with all my symptoms so when I visit another chiro. he/she will be well informed. Thank you once again Dr. Blackman for making me smile again.

Fantastische ervaring: A GREAT BIG THANK YOU. Twee jaar geleden ben ik ernstig ten val gekomen. Behalve wat botbreuken en een paar vingers uit de kom, raakte mijn bekken ontzet. Hierdoor heb kon ik aanvankelijk helemaal niet meer lopen en daarna mondjesmaat maar altijd met pijn. De vele behandelingen bij diverse fysiotherapeuten hebben niets uitgericht. Zes weken geleden ging ik voor het eerst naar Michael, met een taxi want ik was niet in staat om de hoge opstap in bus of tram te maken. Na vier behandelen, die ik als zeer bijzonder heb ervaren, vlieg ik volgende week naar Engeland. Pijnvrij! Na twee jaar ellende beschouw ik dit als een mirakel. Na de zomer ga ik zeker terug voor 'groot onderhoud.'

Fantastische ervaring: 7 years I was walking around with lower back-pain. I've seen many physiotherapists and manual therapists, who all focused on my lower back. Michael was the first to say my problem was not my lower back, but my neck! After the first correction, my level of motion was doubled! Now 8 visits later I can say I am symptom- and pain-free. Fantastische ervaring: Great people skills, socially intelligent, very knowledgeable, an extremely experienced and effective chiropractor: I arrived at Dr. Michael Blackman's practise in considerable continuous discomfort, occasional sharp intolerable back-pain and not very mobile. This, after falling down a flight of stairs. Michael put me at ease, asked many questions about my physical history and my fall, did a thorough diagnosis and then explained to me what he expected the problem to be and what he interned to do to cure the problem. I was asked to lay on a massage table, after a light feel of my lower back area, he then placed a hand on the painful area and in a very short application of sudden pressure, he manipulated my spinal-chord back into the correct position. He asked me to stand up carefully... I expected to be in pain. Instead I was free from all pain and able to walk and move more or less normally for the first time since my fall about eight days before. I asked him if he could also walk on water and change water into wine... "regrettably not" was his dry answer... He has a good sense of humour and is a very likable person. Fantastische ervaring: To be treated by Michael is a blessing. This warmhearted wise man is helping me to release problems that I carry for a life time. Just after the first appointment I feel relieved from neck/shoulder pain and rib cage pain that I carry since I remember. Fantastische ervaring: Voor de 2de keer op heel plezierige wijze behandeld door Michael. Niet alleen als chiropractor legt hij 'de vinger op de zere plek', en zet op plezierige en zachte wijze het 'probleem' recht. Maar ik ben vooral onder de indruk van de nieuwe tafel ( Pulse Centre XL Pro)waarop ik, nadat hij mijn rug had behandeld, 20 minuten mocht gaan liggen. Fantastische ervaring: Michael Blackman is an absolute legend.I was a bit hesitant trying a chiropractor but I had tried 4 different physiotherapists and none of them managed to help me get rid of my neck pain that had been bugging me for years. Michael got rid of it in one session. In the end I booked 6 sessions in two weeks in which not only my neck, but also my knee, hips and jaws where treated - and it made all the difference in the world. The entire experience was very professional, from my first phone call to leaving the office in less pain. His intake process was very thoughtful and un-rushed. He is the 3th Chiropractor treating me in last 2 years and since the first appointment I could already feel all his positive energy around his working place and also a fair price comparing with other Chiropractors where you paid a lot for 15 min treatment, for him you are important and not the time, with you usually don't find it today. Fantastische ervaring: Micheal heb ik leren kennen als een zeer vriendelijke en kundige therapeut. Weet waar hij het over heeft en heeft letterlijk een leven lang ervaring. Tijdens het consult kijkt hij niet op de klok. Een behandeling kan 20 minuten duren, maar ook een uur. Daar is hij heel flexibel in. Al naar gelang wat je nodig hebt. Micheal kijkt verder dan de klacht waar je zelf mee komt. Hij kan je ook advies geven over je voeding bijvoorbeeld en onderzoekt je (klachten) zeer grondig. Micheal heeft een groot assortiment aan apparatuur ter ondersteuning van de behandeling. Ik kom nu ong. een jaar bij Micheal en ben zeer tevreden over zijn behandeling en persoonlijke benadering. Fantastische ervaring: I was visiting Amsterdam for only a few days and on my second day, I sneezed and immediately pulled something in my back. It was almost impossible to walk. I emailed Michael to see if he'd be able to see me and he got me in as soon as possible. As I've never been to Amsterdam, and I don't speak Dutch, it was incredibly easy for me to find his office. It was such a pleasure, too! He offered me tea while I waited, he worked on me for about 30 minutes, and I was feeling much better only a few hours later and back to feeling normal the next day! He gave me some exercises to do while at the hotel and later on which I also really appreciated. I wish I lived in Amsterdam so I could have regular visits with him! Fantastische ervaring: Harstikke fijn! Michael weet alles over je lichaam te vertellen en te genezen! Ben ongeveer 1,5 jaar geleden geweest en was tot nu zonder problemen. Daarvoor super veel last van mijn rug, benen en nek. Nu weer geweest en weer helemaal soepel, zonder pijn. Naast dat je lichaam goed behandeld wordt is Michael als persoon erg fijn, je voelt je gelijk op je gemak!

He is not only a brilliant practitioner with years of experience, but also a very kind person who truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. Unlike other chiropractors in the city he also spends quality time with his patients and gives you his full attention for at least half an hour (this is not the case at other practices where you are often in and out within 15 mins!). If i have a bad back or neck, i don't mind travelling an hour to see Michael - he always manages to fix the problem and put me in a good mood!

I found Nekwerk and basically Michael's own story inspired me to pay Nekwerk a visit for my own complaints. My experience is very positive. Na een vervelende ervaring waarbij een andere chiropractor mij te hard heeft behandeld ben ik op zoek gegaan naar iemand die met meer gevoel kon kijken naar wat mijn lichaam nodig heeft en aan kan. Michael neemt echt de tijd om te luisteren en weet precies de goede punten aan te pakken. Wat ik ook erg fijn vind is dat je niet na 10 minuten weer op de stoep staat maar dat hij ook even de tijd neemt zodat je met een voldaan gevoel de deur uit gaat.
